Our Rally was held on the sidewalk on The East Mall and Vallaha-Inn Road, Etobicoke, Ontario. We prayed the rosary and the chaplet of Divine Mercy after we put the attached petitions across to Jesus through Our Mother. We also sang some Hymns.

We did get the attention of many cars and some people that passed that way. And I believe we did make Mother Mary and Heaven happy as we stood there for over an hour holding the banner and raising our rosaries. Praise God!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Here’s a quick post I put on Facebook for my Brother Knights in regards to yesterday’s Street Rosary Rally in Mississauga. We were on the Southeast corner of Burnhamthorpe and Hurontario.

The winds made it especially hard to set up anything. In fact, our first tent was taken down as it could not be secured safely. Resultant winds forced me to alter the Radio Maria table display.

Please be sure to join us in October 2020!

Today starting out at 12 O`clock we held a rosary rally.  We did a public walk through the down town core while praying the Rosary. We started out at the Catholic church and proceeded on an eight  block walk through the down town core returning to the church grounds as the prayers reached their end.

This was the third year we have conducted what we refer to as a Rosary rally public walk. we will be continuing the October public Rosary with this type of public walk on a yearly bases for the foreseeable future. As vehicles passed us on the side of the street we were not using, some were giving us a thumbs up; it appears the drivers and their passengers accepted our presence and were not bothered by the little inconvenience we might have caused them.

Today we started with 14 people and 4 more joined as we passed through the down town.

We had two priests to pray and bless us.  Father Claude and Father Daas. We had approximately 30 people. Each year our number of prayerful followers are getting larger.

Unfortunately, because of the pouring rain outside, we had to hold the Rosary Rally inside our local Theatre this year, on 50 Cunard Street in Miramichi, New Brunswick. (It is called the Vogue Theatre. They were very kind and generous to let us go inside. The Theatre is in our busy downtown of our city. We had planned on using their parking lot, but the weather was not cooperating, but it did not keep our faithful Catholics away. Praise Jesus for this truly blessed event for His Holy Mother, Mary.

Public Square Rosary Rally

Sacred Heart Cathedral Catholic Women’s League hosted its first ever Rosary Rally to coincide with the national campaign of Canada Need Our Lady to take back the public square. Though many were invited, few attended on the Saturday of the Thanksgiving Weekend. This day is chosen as it is nearest Saturday to the 102nd anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun (October 13, 1917). At noon as busy traffic passed Third and Columbia, Catholics sang Immaculate Mary and O Sanctissima and prayed the Angelus, Rosary, Litany of the Blessed Virgin and others for the 2019 Intentions for the Public Square Rosary Crusade which included:
– To show God and His Blessed Mother our love and veneration, we offer this rosary rally as a special public commemoration of the 102nd Year Anniversary of Our Lady’s apparitions at Fatima.
– Through the most Holy Rosary, we ask Our Lord and Our Lady for the conversion of Canada so that it may fulfill its historic mission.
– To stop the waves of sacrilege, blasphemy and anti-religious hatred within our society.
– That our national leaders would seek to honour God’s Law and pray for the wisdom and knowledge necessary
to solve Canada’s complex problems.
– For the urgent triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Canada and the world especially as a result of our massive prayers and acts of reparation offered at these 102nd anniversary rallies.
nIn reparation for the countless sins which are committed daily against the most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the most Immaculate Heart of Mary.
– For the Catholic Church. May Our Lady grant it victory over its enemies, declared and undeclared.

See www.CanadaNeedsOurLady.org for more information. Plan to hold your own Rosary Rally or join with another group next year.

Our Rosary Rally was held at our outdoor statue of Mary, right next to the Otonabee River in Lakefield. The statue was beautifully decorated with the Rosary Banner and beautiful flowers.
It was a windy cold afternoon but we had 22 people who were dedicated and devoted to Mary and who braved the elements and prayed and sang together.
We also had an outdoor rosary made with cards on our church grounds which was very effective at attracting interest in the event.

It was looking like our group would be small but (at the stroke of 12 noon) others joined us. So we numbered 11 in total…9 from our parish of St Leonard (including our priest) plus 2 others.
Not bad for a first effort !
It did begin to rain shower the moment we blessed ourselves to start but never was enough to cause us to get our umbrellas from the car.
We considered it an extra blessing…with holy water.
We gathered at the public park at the intersection of two major streets where there’s lots of traffic, as well as, sports fields…with a team practising.
The consensus was that we’ll do it again next year…and hopefully grow in numbers.

Holy Family Church, Toronto; Close Ave X King st. W

Good Morning, My name is Maria. The Rosary Crusade took place on Saturday October 12th, at noon at the corner of Close Ave and King St. West, by the statue of the Blessed Mother located outside of the Holy Family Church of Toronto, Ont.We gathered about 30 people and had two volunteers to hold the banner and another person to distribute the handouts. We followed the suggested Prayer Program and prayed the fifteen Mysteries (Joyful, Sorrows and Glorious) We took few pictures at the end of the program.  The Rally captain is in green jacket. You will find attached a list of names of the attendants. I collected some names. It was a nice spiritual experience for all of us who were present with no disturbances during the prayer, and we were blessed with good weather.  After the rain in the morning, it cleared up by noon, but it was windy reason for placing the banner against the wall of the building for protection. I am not signing for Rally Captain for 2020 at this time.  I will re-check it at the proper time. Thank you for making me  a part of this great Rosary Crusade.  May God continue blessing your work and sacrifices. In Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Maria Ziebert2019 Rally Captain

Zurakowski Park – Barry’s Bay ON

The Rally was held by the Barry’s Bay, Combermere and Foymount areas/
Approximately 40 people showed up on a grey, showery day. The reason the gathering was so limited was caused in part by one of the parishes not publishing the event for 2 previous Sundays, as requested. The part-time secretary forgot to include the memo sent to her for inclusion in the Parish Bulletin. That area usually sends a significant number of people to the Rally.
However, that did not prevent the event from being prayerful and a solid display of our faith and love for Our Lady. The statue of Our Lady of Fatima – 42 inches high – was proudly displayed on a table for all to see and to whom to pray.
Thank you to you for providing us with what was needed to pray fervently and with pride.

Our rally was supposed to be at a more visible location but we moved it in front of our church due to the worst weather condition here in Winnipeg. We have been experiencing the winter storm. A lot of trees fall on the road. Hence, we just have a few in attendance mostly from our Legion of Mary. Even then, we still managed to hold the Rally as our self-sacrifice for the reparation of sins and our love for Our Lord Jesus and Blessed Mother Mary.

We held our rally at St. Simon & St Jude Parish Church. It was advertised on our Parish bulletin, Facebook and within Knights of Columbus Councils in our area. As this was our first time hosting the rally, I was not sure what to expect or how many might turnout especially at noon on a Saturday. I was pleased when 2 members of our parish music ministry attended and led us in sing Immaculate Mary. It is important I believe to let you know that our parish has a small but faithful group who pray the rosary daily and that we have adoration of the Blessed Sacrament during many hours on week days. Paul added: ‘I was pleased that I decided to host the Rally and shared with attendants that there were close to 20,000 other gatherings worldwide.

The Rally started promptly at 12 noon local time or a minute or 2 past the hour. It was attended by 5 persons – myself and my 2 teenage children, and 2 other adults, one of whom had attended my previous rallies. The weather was excellent, totally devoid of snows, which had marked previous rallies. This was the first time I held the rally at City hospital. The human traffic wasn’t as high as I expected, perhaps because it was a long weekend. The turnout was also not as impressive. I’m hopeful this will improve next year, God willing.

It was well attended and everyone was very enthusiastic about it. There were three rosary captains from my parish so we joined forces in hosting it.
An interesting thought came to me as I was praying my rosary the day before the Rosary Ralley. It was an image from the Lord of the Rings trilogy when the sentinel fire is lit and you can see the the other sentinel fires dotting the mountain range signaling for help in battle. The image came with the words “Deep calls into Deep”… I looked up the words and it is from Psalm 42.
