The book was written by Saint Louis de Montfort, undoubtedly one of the greatest apostles of the devotion to Mary. He preached that the best way to go to Jesus is through Mary which fits with what Our Lady revealed in Fatima to the three children, Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta:
